What does it provide?

  • Grants independence to the children, as they can sit and get up from it by themselves.

  • Offers the opportunity to learn practical life tasks. Once the child starts walking, they can set the table, tidy it up, and wipe it after themselves.

  • Teaches the child table manners from an early age – placing their plate, napkin, spoon, and fork on the table, among other things.

  • Builds self-confidence in the child about their abilities.

These skills and feelings give the child a sense that they are in charge of their own life.

First dining table can be used in various settings, such as playroom, bedroom, or designated learning space. It offers a dedicated area for activities like drawing, crafting, or playing with toys, fostering a sense of independence and creativity.

  • Special design to be used from an early age, two changeable heights and different allocations
  • Not heavy, but easy-movable, safe and stable, handles designed for baby-sized hands

What else can be used along with our First lunch table and chair?

  • A table tray with marked places for a plate, glass/cup, spoon, and fork helps the child understand where everything stands on the table.

  • Small-sized glass, plate and cutlery. From around 11 months, the child can drink from an open cup and place it back on the table.

Shot glasses or espresso cups, sized for the child's hands, can be used for drinking.

Using “real” dishes helps the child to understand the essence of things – a spoon is sharp, water can spill, and glass can break.
